We Lay Down This Foundation, Lord

In The Name, Our Lord Jesus
Christ
We Beseech Thee Our Dear
Saviour
Keep This Holy Place In Thy Care.

And When These Thy People Seek
Thee,
And Sinners Seek Thee In This
House
Hear, Almighty From Heaven Above
O Lord Our God, Forgive Their Sins.

When Thy Ministers Preach The Word
The Gospel Of Jesus Thy Son
Almighty God, In Thy Great Name
Wrought Our Wonderful Miracles

And When The Little Children Sing
Their Hymns Of Praise Unto Their King
Let Angels Join Them In His Praise
And Earth And Heaven Lend Their Chorus.

Jehovah Will Thou Dwell With Us
In This Our Wicked, Sinful World?
Jesus Christ Will Thou Be Our
King?
Holy Ghost Will Thou Find Rest
Here?

May Thy Glory Never Depart
From This House That We Are Building,
Make Thy Kingdom Within Our Hearts
And Establish Thy Throne Within. Amen!

Jesus, we look to Thee.

Thy promised presence claim;
Thou in the midst of us shalt be,
Assembled in Thy name.

Thy name salvation is,
Which here we come to pride;
Thy name is life, and health, and peace,
And everlasting love.

Not in the name of pride,
Or selfishness we meet;
From nature’s paths we turn aside,
And worldly thoughts forget.

We meet, the grace to take
Which Thou hast freely given;
We meet on earth for Thy dear sake,
That we may meet in heaven.

Present we know Thou art,
But O Thyself reveal!

This time is running fast

Carrying our souls away

O fill Thy servants with wisdom

That they may live for Thee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The time that is passing

Rests the everlasting

O Lord with Thy power fill us

Revive the young and old.

 

 

 

 

 

 

One thing that we should seek

That we should now pursue

That time of Thy visit may not

Depart to come no more.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Let us flee to our Lord

And flee as fast as could

That our soul may not die and drown

Into intense darkness.
