Breathe on me, Breath of God.

God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect

God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect

Breathe on me, Breath of God.

Fill me with life anew,
That I may love what Thou dost love,
And do what Thou wouldst do.

Breathe on me, Breath of God;
Until my heart is pure,
Until with Thee I will one will,
To do and to endure.

Breathe on me, Breath of God;
Till I am wholly Thine,
Until this earthly part of me
Glows with Thy fire divine.

Breathe on me, Breath of God;
So shall I never die,
But live with Thee the perfect life
Of Thine eternity.

  2. How blessed it is to know that the Lord is breathing in us and on us. When we think of the Godhead living inside of us, we are humbled by the awesome God of the universe abiding in us, and us in Him. When we awaken, we know that it is the breath of our Heavenly Father breathing on us and in us, giving us life and sustaining our lives day by day. Even as we sleep and slumber, the breath of our Heavenly Father keeping us when we sleep and slumber. All I can say is thank You, Lord, for breathing on me.
