I Samuel 2:8-10
“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the Lord shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed ”

INTRODUCTION:
A champion is the winner of a contest, a victor, an overcomer. A champion is also the one who remains standing after the battle is over.

Ephesians_6-13: Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand

Ephesians. 6:13
“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. ”

The word, divine, means it is God-connected or related. To have connection with God, you can only access Him through Jesus Christ. –

John 14:6
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”.

WHO IS A DIVINE CHAMPION?
(i)He is a champion that is raised by God.

1 Samuel 2:8
“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S, and he hath set the world upon them.”

(ii) A divine champion is the one who enjoys Gods support and who is strengthened by God.

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:31
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? ”

1 Kings 18:46
“And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.”

(iii) He is the one made wise by God.

Daniel 2:20-21
“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: ”

Proverbs_3-5-1: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding

Proverbs. 3:5-7
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.”

To receive the wisdom of God (i) Be born again (ii) Fear God and flee from sin w o must study God’s word intensively (iv) Ask in faith.

(iv) He is someone loved by God.

Romans 8:37
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

(v) Sponsored by God. He does everything according to the instructions he receives from God

1 Kings 18:36
“At the time of sacrifice, the prophet Elijah stepped forward and prayed: “Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command.”.

He is totally obedient.
Phil.2:12
“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

(vi) A divine champion is the fellow who is sustained by God.

(vii) A divine champion fights in the name of the Almighty God.

1 Samuel 17:45
“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied”

(viii) He is an ambassador of the Lord. When he speaks, God backs u his words.

1 Sam. 3:19
“And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.”

CONCLUSION:
God is raising champions these last days, will you be one of them? It is your choice

May God Bless Nigeria, America And Israel And Take Care Of Us; May God Make His Face Shine Upon Us, And Be Gracious To Us; May The Lord Lift Up His Countenance Upon Us, And Give Us Peace, In Jesus Christ Name, We Pray! Amen!

May The Grace The Lord Jesus Christ, And The Love Of God, And The Fellowship Of The Holy Spirit Be With You All. Amen!
