Testimony From Sick Bed, Our God Is Still In The Business Of Healing People

I had an accident in 2003 with my whole family in the car at the new airport road, Alakia Ibadan. It was an head on collusion and we lost the last born of the family to brain injury, she was a year plus old. The accident was serious, I was sitting behind my step dad, his chair moved back forcefully and made one of my leg go inside which caused me to have a pelvic shift. one of my leg was longer than the other. The orthopaedic doctor tried his best and was able to pull out a bit of my leg, but I still couldnt walk straight. I was limping. When I was discharged, the doctor said I wouldn’t be able to walk well again, that I have to learn how to walk that way. In my mind I said “God Forbid”. I had to go back to school with crutches, I was in senior secondary school. One night, as I was about to sleep, I was listening to Papa Adeboye’s message on radio (I wasn’t a Redeemer, I just liked Papa Adeboye as a man of God). on the message that night, he said that God has spare parts of bodies in heaven and if there was any part of our body we didn’t like, we should ask God to change it. That night on my bed about to sleep, I told God that He can see that one of my leg is longer than the other, and that if it is true that He has spare part of body in heaven, He should please give me a new leg.

1-Peter_2-24: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed

Then I slept off. When I woke up the following morning, (I will normally need my crutches to walk, because my leg was weak) I had walked a few steps on my own before I realised that I was walking well and I wasn’t using the crutches. screamed so much, my mum ran to the room and we immediately drove to see the same doctor that said I would never walk well again. When the doctor saw me, he was surprised and said this could only have been God. He had to write it down in his diary as a miracle. I have been walking well and straight without limping since then. this testimony is long overdue but I will always be greatful to God, because He showed me that there is nothing He cannot do. Praise the Lord.  OYEWOLE OLAJUMOKE (NIGERIA)
