Abide in God’s Presence. Prayer Points Before Evangelism

Matthew 24:14

“And the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.”

I was reminded recently that God often tells His people to step forward into what appears to be impossible circumstances. He requires people of faith that are looking at the lost and dying people and saying – no more! He requires that we keep our eyes on Him and listen to His voice – every single day. We must believe what He has taught us – what He has said about us – and we must claim the promises that are found all throughout His Word. God’s people should be hungry for His Presence and willing to step into the authority the Holy Spirit and His Word can help us use. We are his people and we are chosen for “such a time as this.” We can live in the full assurance that God is with us every step of the way and we can live free from fear – in spite of the challenges. Ask Him to help you “abide in his Presence” – as He helps you obey the Great Commission

Prayer:

I am praising You Jesus knowing You are accelerating transformation in Your church so the” gospel shall be preached…and then the end shall come.” It is humbling to know that we are living in days where the fulfilment of this truth will be seen. You are beginning to shake things up. For me, this is the greatest message of hope there is.

Clearly there are trials and struggles – You never said it was going to be easy. But, this greatest of all news also means that a new beginning is coming. You have grown Your church to be an overcoming church – we are to be an overcoming people.

Your Presence promises victory – it promises provision, strength, healing and comfort in the process. If we have built our lives on the kingdom that cannot be shaken, we will survive the trials and even prosper and prevail in the process.

Those who know their God will display great strength and will take action. We have a job to do, and a purpose to fulfil! We also have nothing to fear, because we are building our lives on Your truths and promises. We must see things as they are – and be prepared to not just survive – but to save many others along the way.

As a believer, I am dead to this world – so there is nothing the world can do to me. Failure, rejection, and all manner of fear are tools the enemy uses to confuse and bind us. Help us to always remember that the power of Your Cross has set us free from all these fears. Do not let us pick them back up again.

I am so grateful to see transformation taking place in the hearts of Your people. It is a beautiful – even sacred and holy sight to see. Many have just emerged from their times in the wilderness – and their time will not be wasted. Thank You for the deep work You are doing in the lives of so many.

Help us to be prepared for the great challenges that lie ahead. Your Holy Spirit’s power working through us is a beautiful and altogether humbling experience – and it is one every member of Your church – Your family – can experience.

My prayer asks that You would strengthen Your own – empower them through prayer, worship and strong biblical teaching to face the road ahead without fear – and to live in anticipation of the greatness of our God being seen through us.

Thank You for the unceasing work of your Holy Spirit who daily draws us into the place of deep intimacy with our Saviour – and hold us firmly in His hands as we step out to minister in His name. Whatever strongholds have gone down into the hearts of man, it is now time to unify and obediently follow Jesus into freedom from these bondages. He is with us to lead us into victory!

We need Your supernatural power to prevail. You are waiting for us to ask – so we ask! Increase our faith – and make us unafraid – and may not one more soul be lost – help us we cry! To You be all the honour and the glory, In Jesus Christ Name I pray, Amen!

May God Bless Nigeria, America And Israel And Take Care Of Us; May God Make His Face Shine Upon Us, And Be Gracious To Us; May The Lord Lift Up His Countenance Upon Us, And Give Us Peace, In Jesus Christ Name, We Pray! Amen!

May The Grace The Lord Jesus Christ, And The Love Of God, And The Fellowship Of The Holy Spirit Be With You All. Amen!
