Locate The Man Sent By God Into Your Life And Stay Connected To Him (Part 2).
“Believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper”. 2 Chronicles 20:20 “Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established”
In Part 1, we saw how heaven endorsed Jesus Christ, because He recognized John the Baptist as the man God sent.
However, despite God’s endorsement, the Bible said He came to His own and they did not see Him as the man sent by God. Rather they had their own preconceived ideas of how the Messiah should come. The Bible says as many as receive Him, He gave power to become, not only the sons of God but also power to become anything they desire.
Jesus is asking us today, “Who do you say I am? “ Peter said “Thou art Christ, the Son of the Living God”. Yet when He went to His own, they said He is the son of a carpenter. They said they know His sisters and His brothers as well. The book of Mark says they were offended at Him and consequently did not receive anything because they did not see Him as the man sent by God to them. The intention of God was for His grace to rest upon them but they did not receive Him.
In Luke chapter 4, the Bible said the doctors of the law, the Pharisees were sitting with Jesus and the power of God was present to heal but they sat down there arguing about who Jesus was and they got nothing.
In another place, a woman with an issue of blood broke through a large crowd and touched the hem of Jesus’ garment because she recognised Him as the man sent by God to her for her healing.
God wants you blessed, but He will not send Jesus again, He has sent a man into your life. Recognise the man sent by God to bless you and your life will never remain the same again. Be open to the Spirit of God; let Him lead you because there is a blessing in being connected. When I use the word “Man”, it is generic, it might be a man or a woman, find the person, because your blessing is in his mouth.
