YOU ARE FREE INDEED!
“So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free”. John 8:36 (AMP)
Then Jesus Christ went to the cross, the devil thought he had it Wall together and finally he thought man was in his pocket. What he did not know is that God was set to use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. So, by the foolishness of the cross, Jesus brought deliverance to us. By this singular act, Jesus has given us access to call His Father, our Father and our God. Not only that, even He is not ashamed to call us brethren; irrespective of what we have done. Beloved, think about it and let it sink into your spirit: GOD IS NOT ASHAMED OF YOU! You are not in bondage because Christ paid the entire price for your redemption on the cross. He died that you may live. The devil has no right to keep you in bondage.
However, ignorance can keep you in bondage, ignorance of what already has been obtained through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Hosea 4:6 says “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” Isaiah 5:13 says “Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.” Ignorance is not the will of God for His children; it is the trick of the enemy. It is expected of you to know the things that are yours by the Spirit of the Lord. 1 Corinthians 2:12 says “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God”.
Beloved, the price is paid. Jesus didn’t come to help angels. He came because of you, that was why He came in the form of a man. Arise in full knowledge of the finished work of Calvary knowing that you are free indeed. Hallelujah!
