Dear Heavenly Father! I wait on You because You are my Lord and I trust that You know the very best time to fulfill Your promises to me. I depend on You at all times, but especially when I feel weak in the face of unanswered prayers and postponed dreams. Give me the faith and patience I need to rest in Your timing. You are my strength, and I ask that You would enable me to be strong and whole in my mind, body, and soul as I wait on You to move on my behalf.

Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!

Psalm 27:14

  1. Thank you for this good prayer for those of us seeking to follow Christ and rely on the Father as our strong right arm.

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But desire fulfilled is a tree of life.” (Pr. 13:12)

And we know that our hope is in Jesus Christ! (Titus 2:11-14)
